SGA is proud to announce the implementation of free feminine hygiene products across campus! Students can now find free tampons and pads in 5 of the women’s restrooms located on campus. Through advocacy, persistence, and commitment to quality, this initiative that started back in 2021 has finally come to fruition.

Thank you to the Department of Facilities Services and The Student Wellness Advisory Board for partnering with us on this initiative. Complimentary products are located in the women’s restroom in the Black Family Plaza, Waves Cafe (across from International Programs), and all three floors of the Center for Communication and Business.

Will your event be 40 guests or less? Will you have more than 40 guests but would like to supplement your resources with reusable kitchenware?

Reserve a SGA Green Kit for your event (for free)! Contact us at sga@pepperdine.edu 48 hours before your event for free access to the SGA Green Kit by including your name, event’s title, reason for requesting, event date and time, and the name of the student organization hosting the event. Note that those requesting the following items will be responsible for cleaning, washing, and returning the SGA Green Kit within 48 hours after the event. Fines will be assessed according to items lost or not returned. Items can be picked up and returned at the SGA office at Tyler Campus Center (TCC) 260.

Green Kit contents include:
- Large, medium, and small plates. Plates are BPA free and made from 100% recycled materials
- Cups. 16 oz. each
- Stainless Steel Forks, Spoons, and Knives
- Stainless Steel Serving Spoons, Forks, and Tongs
- Compost bin and bag.
(Collect food scraps and empty the bin in one of the on-campus food waste bins after the event.)
- Food Waste Bin Map.
- List of “checked out” items. (To ensure all items are returned to the SGA office at TCC 260.)
- Collapsible wagon. (Helps transport items easily. Lightweight and collapsible)
